FAMILY-FRIENDLY BOUTIQUE FESTIVAL Friday 30th May to Sunday 1st June 2014 near Biggin Hill With just 1,000 festival-goers, The Hope Festival is small but perfectly formed. It has all the attractions of bigger festivals, great live music, a fully licensed bar, kids’ entertainment and camp fires, but without the crowds or huge price tag.

The Hope Festival was created by a group of musicians as a ‘musical get together’ 20 years ago to celebrate a friend’s wedding. It was so much fun that they’ve been getting together every year since and it has grown organically into a much-loved boutique festival.

Each year the line-up includes fantastic regular acts as well as exciting new talent. There are four live music stages, as well as a late night Piano Tent for impulsive jamming sessions.

Alongside over 60 live music performances, there is a dedicated set of events for children. These include a very entertaining talent show, face-painting, free bouncy castle, magic show, a costume workshop and an end-of-festival Childrens’ Parade The licensed bar sells a superb selection of real ales, Guinness and wine, while the coffee and juice bar ensures everyone gets going in the morning. There are selected food stalls selling everything from Jamaican jerk chicken and burgers to home-made ice-cream, but festival-goers are also encouraged to live the outdoor dream and get their camp fires lit!

Tickets for adults are an astonishingly reasonable £50 each. Children under 12 are £5, and teenagers just £20. For tickets (sold in advance only), and further details as the 2014 line-up is finalised, visit www.hopefestival.co.uk.

PS: The very long-term weather forecast by Hope’s Clairvoyant Climatic Team is extremely hot and sunny spells with outbreaks of rainbows. Oh.. and did we mention that we have showers & proper toilets?
