I am writing to raise my concerns about the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) deal that is currently going through the European Parliament, but which many people know nothing about.
This deal could allow big corporations to take over some of our most vital services like the NHS.
It could also give them the power to sue our Government if our Government makes laws, that protect all of us, which the big corporations do not like. I do not believe that is right.
I have signed a petition against the deal, along with about 2m other people in the EU, and I have written to our MEPs, who will have a chance to vote against the deal on June 10.
Could you do the same?
You can find out more if you search on your browser for TTIP.
I think it is wrong that big corporations should be able to exercise this sort of power rather than democratically elected Governments.
