Why is Bullying still standing strong?

This subject being close to my heart I find it easy to write about this. Many kids today are scared over this subject and suffer as not being able to confined in anyone no matter how much support is handed out these kids do not want to blurt out all their personal details some may call it pride but from a certain point of view the more accurate suggestion is the utter torture that these bullies inflict on kids minds. Yes Child line and school try to help with this problem, but the thing is that kids are too scared to crawl out of the dark and share their pain. Bullying has been going on for ages but the most important thing is to work with the children bullied but this is hard if the victims do not speak out. We must remember that bullies are triggered off by certain aspects of their life, their life at home is not always perfect and some of these bullies may have been victims in the past thinking that the best way to prove themselves is to inflict their pain on others. So maybe the thing to do when bullying is spotted that the onlooker’s first aim is to talk to the inflictor and figure out what is triggering his pain, this is probably the main issue and should be targeted by child help services on this matter. A broad definition of bullying is when a student is repeatedly exposed to negative actions on the part of one or more other students. These negative actions can take the form of physical contact, verbal abuse, or making faces and rude gestures. Spreading rumours and excluding the victim from a group are also common forms. Bullying also entails an imbalance in strength between the bullies and the victim. Bullies can inflict their pain in many ways firstly face to face interaction this can be severe and cause violence but the worst that sometimes hits children the most is the cyber-bullying and the threats made by the use of email, texting and social networking sites this can cause the most damage making the victim suffer in silence. Bullies can be anywhere, but there's no place they show up more than in schools, and no time more than in September. Once the academic year starts, the complicated social hierarchy of a school and sometimes this cannot be helped by the teachers. New children feel lonely at this time of year and this is where teachers should be more aware any child sulking should be comforted and made sure that they have a friend, that is the most important thing in a child’s school life- friends. Often people dismiss bullying among kids as a normal part of growing up. But bullying is harmful. It can lead children and teenagers to feel tense and afraid. It may lead them to avoid school. In severe cases, teens who are bullied may feel they need to take drastic measures or react violently. Others even consider suicide. For some, the effects of bullying last a lifetime. The most important thing is that victims and bullies should know that they always have someone to confine in.
