The Perfect Hattrick

With a perfect hattrick comes a perfect game by scoring 3 goals. 1 with the left foot, 1 with the right foot, and one with the head.

Christian Pulisic (Chelsea Forward) was the most recent to own this headline.

Two summers ago, he was brought in for £55 million to start the 2019/20 season and was seen as the perfect replacement for Eden Hazard. With Chelsea receiving a transfer ban last summer Pulisic became Chelsea’s only signing.

With his fantastic form for Borussia Dortmund previously a lot of hope was filled through the Chelsea fans’ hearts.

Unfortunately, Frank Lampard (Chelsea head coach) has avoided the question “When will we see Christian in action”, but still Frank Lampard struggled to fit him in the side. With only 1 start and 3 appearances off of the bench (from a possible 7 premier league games) Pulisic was due a start which he was granted against Burnley (26th September) and he didn’t disappoint.

A 4-2 win for Chelsea but only one man made the headlines: Christian Pulisic.

His perfect hattrick caused Chelsea to be 3-0 up by the 56th minute taking any chance of a Burnley comeback out of the equation and giving Chelsea a well-deserved and well needed 3 points.

The perfect Eden Hazard replacement? Maybe, but his form will need to continue for club and country (USA) for him to cement his place into Frank’s starting eleven and make the Chelsea fans screaming for his name on the back of every pre-match programme.
