In the second part of the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ film franchise there was a new theme being told but it did carry on form the original film.

In my opinion this ‘fantastic’ cinematic experience definitely deserves its five star review and it beats its predecessor by a long shot. The actors and their actions really five the characters their lives on screen. The attention to detail and the amazing animation really made the film, and the story made the deepest darkest places come out of characters; it showed the viewers who they really were. Their script was just brilliant with so many twists, turns and surprises throughout the film. It always kept me on the edge of my seat; the suspense at some points was unbearable- especially the jaw dropping cliff hanger the end! The story was very gripping and it incorporated the aspects of new characters and their views and beliefs and as we discovered nail-biting information about the characters story and their lives. The animation in the film was spectacular and the special effects form the ‘fantastic beasts’ were magically phenomenal and the battles between good and bad, sometimes taken out on the world around them, were amazing.

I think that the villain in this film is similar to Lord Voldemort in the way that they both want the wizarding world to be open and not secretive, people should be allowed to be whoever they wish to be no matter who they are- wizard or human. However Grindelwald doesn’t wish to eradicate all humans.

All in all I thought it was amazing and I truly cannot wait for the third part of the series to arrive. Until then I will be waiting on the edge of my seat to find out how the film will end.
