Rememberance Day service in Chiswick
Today, on the twelfth of November, marks the 99th anniversary of World War 1 with Remembrance Sunday dedicated to commemorating the dead of both world wars as well as other conflicts around the world. Chisiwick gave its own form of remembrance with wreaths laid on the war memorial in Turnham Green by organisations such as the Metropolitan Police, the Sea Cadets Corps and the local fire brigade.
