On the 5th of November hundreds of families gathered at Roundwood Park in anticipation for the fireworks display.  This was a council run display which was free for all.  There were two displays on the night; one at 6:30pm for children and the main display was at 8:00pm

The hosts were absolutely brilliant entertaining the crowd with live music and engaging with them.  The best pictures taken of the display were then retweeted on twitter by Brent council. Families and friends came together to watch the spectacular display on bonfire night, stalls were set up all around the park selling glow sticks and bracelets for the excited young children.

Waiting in the cool, crisp Autumn evening proved to be worth it with the local residents, David aged 7 says “This is my second time coming here and tonight was definitely better than last year. It was really cool I can’t wait for next year’s display already.” Leila aged 22 says “Tonight was spectacular; the atmosphere was beautiful and filled with laughter. It was great way for me to spend time and have fun with my family I really enjoyed it”.
