ENTRANTS at the Fuzion 100 Ilkley Trophy this year are having to do it tough when it comes to their first-round matches at Wimbledon next week.

Five of the men and three of the women have been drawn against seeded players.

Frenchman Gregoire Barrere plays 31st seed Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), while the opponent for American Christian Harrison is 24th seed Kei Nishikori (Japan).

Yorkshire's Kyle Edmund, meanwhile, plays Australian left-hander Alex Bolt, who was runner-up at Ilkley last year.

Harriet Dart, who was the first woman from Great Britain to reach the quarter-finals at Ilkley, faces seventh seed and former US Open runner-up Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic), while Serena Williams, whose 25th seeding caused some controversy, plays Arantxa Rus (Netherlands).

Elena-Gabriela Ruse (Romania) is up against former Wimbledon runner-up Agnieszka Radwanska (Poland), who is seeded 32.

Ilkley men's winner Sergiy Stakhovsky (Ukraine) faces Portugal's Joao Sousa, while Australian left-hander John-Patrick Smith plays experienced Italian Andreas Seppi.
