Full-back Darren Livett’s ninth try of the season ensured Weybridge Vandals returned to winning ways in London Division Two South West with a nervy 14-10 triumph over visitors Twickenham on Saturday.
Head coach Ian Bardgett’s men were made to work hard for it after Livett’s score 15 minutes after the break added to a first-half penalty try to give his side a 14-3 advantage.
A converted score from Twickenham's Tom Eastham set up a frantic finale, but Vandals held on to put back-to-back defeats to Effingham & Leatherhead and London Cornish behind them.
