Old Whitgiftians are joint second with three other teams in Surrey One after Saturday’s 12-5 win over Old Freemens.
The visitors took a five-point lead after their number eight took advantage of some careless defence, but the missed conversion was their second easy kick to be missed following an earlier penalty.
Whits finally put some points on the board in the 35th minute when a fine break by Todd led to Dunsmore going over in the corner.
Whits had two players yellow carded early in the second half, but once they had their full complement restored they started to take control.
Late in the game, Jordan squeezed through a narrow gap to touch down, with Todd adding the extras.
It wasa good day for Whits with more than 130 former players attending a pre-match lunch and The Wanderers and Warriors winning their matches by 31-10 and 24-17 respectively.
