A giant photographic mosaic made up of over 1,500 photographs sent in by England fans from all over the world will be unveiled at Twickenham this coming Saturday and will take pride of place in the south stand concourse for thousands of people to enjoy.

The England Rugby Supporters Club, who ran this project in association with England Rugby's main sponsor, O2, asked fans to submit their favourite rugby photos - especially from the recent Rugby World Cup in France.

ERSC members then voted to decide their overall favourite picture which was chosen as the main mosaic image.

From a shortlist of six, two pictures emerged out in front and the England Rugby Supporters Club have selected the photo that will best lend itself to a mosaic of pictures while representing all that's best about England Rugby.

Vicky Cheevers, marketing and communications manager of ERSC explains, "There is so much passion and excitement for English rugby that we wanted fans to be able to show their support of the England team permanently.

"We thought this was the perfect way for fans to do this in a unique way.

"The final result is very eye catching and I hope the England Rugby Wall of Support brings back happy memories for thousands of visitors to Twickenham over the coming years."

Mark Stevenson, Head of Sponsorship at O2, added, "We are delighted to provide fans with an opportunity to show their support for the England team by sending in their photos via MMS.

"As main sponsor of the England team, O2 strives to bring fans closer to the team through initiatives such as O2 Scrum in the Park and we are pleased to help bring the Wall of Support to Twickenham so that fans can continue to show their support".

England Rugby World Cup winner Jason Leonard OBE will be unveiling the mosaic at 1.30pm on Saturday and all match attendees are invited to come.

The first 50 ERSC members to show their membership cards and the first 50 O2 customers to show their phones at the launch will also receive a goodie bag to commemorate the launch (offer valid 1.30-1.45pm only).

The mosaic is located in the centre of the lower concourse in the south stand and will be open to the general public after this weekend.
