Kingston kicked off their preparation for the coming season with a trial match against Windsor RFC, who play two leagues higher than Kingston.
The match was a game of four 20 minute quarters.
Kingston got off to a real flyer, showing Windsor that the Ks were no pushover, scoring to take a 10-0, with tries by Joe Morris and Damien Cunningham.
Windsor then clawed their way back scoring three tries to Kingston's one to win 19-15.
Kingston RFC is looking for new players to strengthen their three sides. Call Graeme Maisey on 07866 124 282, or visit kingstonrfc.com
