Rosslyn Park’s 35-13 win at Esher last weekend saw them pull 10 points clear of third-place Coventry in National League One.
However, with just five matches left Park have a gap of nine points to bridge to the league leaders Ealing Trailfinders, who they play in their penultimate match.
Park cannot therefore afford any slip ups against an in-form Hartpury College side, who have recently been training with the England team.
Rosslyn Park won by 31-10 at Hartpury earlier in the season, thanks largely to a first-half burst of three tries in 15 minutes.
The Gloucester side, who won promotion to National League One last season, have seen results have pick up considerable since then, and they now lie a respectable sixth in the table.
Park head coach Alex Codling was pleased with his side’s performance last Saturday, but hold Hartpury in high esteem.
He said: “I thought the ambition and intensity from the first whistle was outstanding against Esher. I was extremely proud of the performance and the way we played the weather conditions.
“This Saturday we play one of the form teams in the division in Hartpury.
“They are on a great run and play a cracking brand of rugby."
He added: “It has all the makings of a top advert for National League One rugby and the boys are looking forward to being back at the Rock in front of our supporters.”
