Hampton School’s rugby boys were only too pleased to avenge last season’s Natwest Schools Cup quarter-final defeat to RGS High Wycombe with a 20-8 win over the same team on Wednesday.
A Will Attfield double and prop Sam Curran’s interception effort were enough to set up a quarter final clash with either Monmouth or Gryphon School.
Director of rugby Zoran Higgins said: “We didn’t play well in last year’s quarter-final and lost narrowly, making a lot of mistakes.
"The challenge for the boys was to execute, and it was really pleasing they executed as well as they could.”
