Richmond returned to winning ways with a 36-27 National Division One triumph over old rivals Blackheath at the Athletic Ground on Saturday.
Chris Davies, Joe Burton, Andy Hall, Rory Damant and Will Browne all crossed in a thrilling victory that was finally made safe for the hosts with a late Rob Kirby penalty.
The success means Richmond are fourth in table - eight points adrift of leaders Ealing - ahead of next week's trip to second-placed Rosslyn Park.
Ealing secured a 22-5 at Esher to leave director of rugby Mike Schmid's men languishing ninth in the table and they will try to land a first away win of the season at Coventry next week.
