Greenwich heavyweight Daniel Dubois believes he will put super confident Nathan Gorman right in place come fight night on July 13 at his local venue The O2, writes Ziad Chaudry.

The 21-year-old faces his fellow rival and stablemate in a mouthwatering British heavyweight title showdown.

The pair, who are both promoted by Frank Warren, began exchanging war of words at last Thursday's press conference at BT Sport studios in Stratford.

And Dubois, who has so far won all eleven of his professional outings and pocketed five titles including the Southern and English, is unfazed by Gorman's pre-fight talk.

"I'm glad he feels the way he does," he said. "Let's see how confident he is when I start hitting him with a couple of jabs."

And 'Triple D' is looking forward to fighting at The O2 which is just literally a stone throws away from his doorstep. Last June he beat Tom Little in five to claim the English mantle at the North Greenwich venue.

"This will be more than an event than the last time," Dubois added. "So I will be looking to the whole energy of the crowd, feeling off the energy and using that in the fight."

And Dubois believes he will succeed on July 13 by concluding: "It will be a devastating performance."

Fellow heavyweight rival Joe Joyce will also be appearing on the undercard with many more contests to be announced on this marquee BT Sport televised bill.
