One Wimbledon and three Surbiton players are taking part in a prestigeous international tournamernt at Largs in Scotland this weekend for England and Scotland, with Germany and Spain the other two competing nations.

But Wimbledon's Rob Moore and Surbiton's Richard Alexander and James Tindall for England, plus Surbiton's Chris Grassick for Scotland, will not be adding to their total of caps since, with the EuroHockey League Finals taking place this weekend, the Euopean Hockey Federation has not recognised the event as a full national tournament.

Nor will Surbiton's former South African international, Ken Forbes, be winning his first ever England cap since serving the necessary three-year gap since last appearing for the Sprinbkoks in order represent England and Great Britain.

England start by playing Germany at 2pm and Scotland meet Spain at 5pm tomorrow (Saturday).

Then it is England's turn to play Spain at 2pm and Scotland to meet Germany at 5pm on Sunday.

Finally Germany play Spain at 10am on Monday and the tournament culminates with a meeting of the "auld" enemies at noon with the possibilty of all four local players in action.
