Skipper Chad Randall sees no reason why Harlequins can’t shock Wigan for the second successive year when they head to the DW Stadium tonight.

Quins ran out 38-26 winners in the corresponding fixture last season and go into the game fresh from last Friday’s 70-0 Challenge Cup triumph at Gateshead Thunder.

“If we have a good game, perform well and continue working hard, it will set us in good stead.

“We are definitely looking forward to the challenge.

“Scoring the try to seal last year’s win was great and I remember a lot of smiling people in the crowd after that.”

Chris Bailey returns to the squad while Luke Dorn and Rob Purdham are still being assessted with their respective injuries.

Ben Bolger, a try scorer last weekend, and Olsi Krasniqi retain their place from the Gateshead squad.

Oliver Wilkes should stretch his run of consecutive appearances to 58, the current longest in Super League.

Tony Clubb, a hat-trick hero last week, is third on that list on 45, while Luke Gale is the second most accurate goalkicker in Super League this season, having managed 43 goals from 51 attempts.

Quins’ reward for victory at Gateshead is a fifth round trip to Leeds Rhinos next Friday and they have already enjoyed a 36-26 Super League win at Headingley this season.

Head coach Rob Powell said: “The whole squad is excited about the game.

“We have already had one trip up there which will stand us in good stead for next Friday.”
