Richmond Gymnastics mixed pair Lewis Walker and Isabella Montagana took a gold medal at the International Mayor’s Cup at Pravets in Bulgaria helping London Acrobats took the top team position.
Clubmates Matilda Scott and Christie Wong took a silver medal while Jennifer Bailey, Josie Russell and Circely Irwin finished seventh in their event.
Richmond Gymnastics had hosted the final training session of acrobats aged 11 to 18 from across the capital at their base in Kew.
Regional coach Ventsi Genov said: “We set off to Bulgaria full of hopes after a great final training session, it was amazing to see all the gymnasts perform so well and take the Mayor’s Cup for the London Region.”
