South London Harriers won their first Southern Men’s League match of the season at Wimbledon Park.

Billy Porter won both the 100m (11.5 seconds) and 200m (23.4) with Columba Bianco winning the 400m (53.1).

Martin Parry won the 800m (2:07.6) and 1,500m (4:39.2), while Paul Mitchell was second in the 5,000m (18:15.2).

The 110m Hurdles win went to SLH’s Samzu Agbaje in 16.5 and Andy Tindall was third in the 400m Hurdles in 71.3. Andy then competed in the 3000m Steeple Chase, where he won in 10.38.3.

SLH also won the 4 x 100m and 4 x 400m relays in 45.6 and 3.45.3 respectively.

Darren Brown jumped 1.70m to win the High Jump and then took another win in the Long Jump with 6.29m. Stephen Babalola Triple Jumped 13.19m for yet another win.

Tom Bullen won the shot (12.49) and discus (39.38m) and was second in the hammer (20.97m) and javelin (34.54m).

Result: 1 South London Harriers 124, 2 Tunbridge Wells 103, 3 Invicta 84.

Six South London Harriers athletes took part in Sunday’s Richmond Half Marathon.
