Scottish rock phenomenon Texas have been named as the first act to perform at Epsom Live during 2011.
The band, led by Sharleen Spiteri, will perform after the racing on Thursday, June 30. The series of five music nights will then continue on every Thursday during July.
Rupert Trevelyan, managing director of Epsom Downs Racecourse, said: “Texas have an international fanbase and we hope that both music and racing lovers will flock to Epsom.”
