The British Athletics Supporters Club celebrated its 50th year in style at the weekend, recognising athletes over the years by inviting eight as guests of honour.
Croydon Harriers Internationals Donna Fraser and Mike Fleet found themselves in the spotlight alongside such luminaries as 1964 Olympic gold medallists Lynn Davies and Ken Matthews and current 800m star Michael Rimmer.
Both were publicly interviewed by the voice of athletics, Peter Matthews, and featured in a fascinating question and answer session as well as having the surprise of eight foot high action shots of themselves on display.
