David Haye has promised boxing fans he will fight the Klitschko brothers in what would be a lucrative money-spinning unification showdowns next year, writes Ziad Chaudry.

The 30-year-old WBA World heavyweight champion from Clapham had probably one of the easiest but sweetest victories in his 26-fight career after easily dusting out arch-enemy hopelessly punch-shy Audley Harrison in three rounds last Saturday at MEN Arena, Manchester.

But Haye’s devastating demolition finish was overshadowed by 39-year-old’s Harrison’s pitiful display that annoyed the 20,000 full-capacity MEN Arena crowd and millions of Sky Box Office viewers – and who can you blame them?

"I'm the main man and there's no-one else for them to fight, and I'll fight either one of them," stated Haye who could first face IBF and WBO title holder Wladimir sometime next April or May.

"It will happen because they've got nowhere else to go. There is no-one else that can bring the excitement and the numbers I do."

“I'm going to break the mould, I'm determined to stick to my goal. I will have achieved what I wanted to achieve - undisputed cruiserweight champion, unify the heavyweight division and then call it a day."

And Haye is confident he will meet Wladimir, providing the Ukraine wins his forthcoming defence against Finchley’s Derek Chirosa on December 11 in Mannheim, Germany.

"I know exactly how to beat him," continued Haye. "He's never fought anyone with my speed and power, all I have to do is clip him on the side of the head and he'll go the way Audley did.

"And imagine bringing Wladimir here in England - he likes it his own way, but it would be something he'd never had before, being booed from start to finish, such a hostile environment. Everyone loves him in Germany, he hasn't got too many fans over here."
