Members of Carshalton-based Westcroft Judo Club won 24 medals at the London Youth Games at Crystal Palace.
The team, representing Sutton, were overall team winners in the girls’ section, while the boys had to settle for silver behind Wandsworth.
Gold medals: Gemma Dickinson (senior girls U63kg), Shermaine Henlon (senior girls’ U78kg), Leanne Henlon (junior girls’ over-70kg), Kate McKenna (junior girls’ U70kg), Ayden Mertdag, Lee Aldridge, Tim-Philip Ebel (junior boys’ U55kg), Mitchell Kayne (senior boys’ U55kg) and Cameron Ogles (senior boys’ over-81kg). Silvers: Emma Jefferies, Ellie Johncey, Katie Langford, Carys Williams, Oliver Buitrago, Alex Cummings Bronzes: Jessica Bridgeford, Francis de Lima, Callum Ogles, Jordan Mulley, Elliott Willliams, John Hisee, Max Webster, Ben Cummings, Alex Roe.
