Teenager Billy Osborne stole the show with a 22-point haul as South London Storm returned to winning ways with a 38-6 win over London Skolars.

Osborne scored three tries and kicked five goals as an inexperienced Storm team remained unbeaten at home in 2010.

The game was abandoned on 57 minutes due to a serious injury to Skolars Nimai Parmar. The result will stand. All at Storm wish him Nimai a speedy recovery.

Storm took the lead on ten minutes when Pete Maddigan found Skolars old boy Matty Stringer in space on the left wing. A smart finish in the corner was added to by a great Osborne conversion.

Two minutes later the lead was doubled to 12-0 when inspirational captain Luke Bonnor scooted over from dummy half. Osborne again converted.

The pressure on the Skolars defence was relentless as they struggled to contain a Storm team now full of confidence. On twenty minutes Osborne grabbed his first try of the day following a smart shimmy and this time he converted from the right touchline. Storm now lead 18-0.

Winger Aaron Brown on his debut first team outing of the season, soon showed his blistering speed after being released by Mike Benson sixty metres out.. He outpaced the Skolars backline to score a stunning try that was again converted by Osborne.

Five minutes from half time the visitors got on the score board. Half back Aaron Small regathered the ball following a Storm error from a kick on the last trackle and was able to squeeze over the try line. Ross Hann converted.. 24-6 Any chance of a comeback was quashed on thirty nine minutes as Osborne sneaked over for his second try to leave Storm ahead 28-6 at half time.

Despite the game being abandoned seventeen minutes into the second half, Storm were still able to add two further scores.

On forty four minutes Osborne completed his hat-trick and on fifty minutes Pete Maddigan added his name to the score board with a short range try to the right of the posts. Osborne converted and the game finished 38-6 to South London.

A depleted Storm 'A' went down 62-12 at Guildford Giants but remain in a good position to gain a place in the end of season play offs.

Storm man of the match - there were a number of candidates, Shun Tamura ran hard, Mike Benson was a thorn in Skolars side all game and skipper Luke Bonnor controlled the show. However a hat-trick and 22 points in total deservedly give Billy Osborne the award.
