Ashford Cricket Club’s first XI are targeting promotion this summer having gone so close last year.
The club, based in Short Lane, Stanwell, missed out on back-to-back promotions, finishing third in Surrey Championship Division Three.
Skipper Richard Mansfield said: “We are looking to go one better this year.”
Ashford seconds go for their third promotion in a row in Division Three of the second XI championship.
Ashford also has a women’s team competing in Southern League Division Three and more than 100 youngsters aged U9 to U17 are involved in their colts programme.
Training for colts is from 6-8pm on Fridays at Short Lane, with colts fixtures held on midweek evenings and Sunday mornings.
