Sutton Runners’ lone male competition, Martin Giles, finished a creditable 39th in Saturday’s Surrey Cross Country Championships in Lloyd Park, completing the 12km course in 46 minutes, 33 seconds.
Jenny Sinfield was 33rd in the women’s race in 38 minutes, 22 seconds, leading Sutton Runners to seventh team place.
