Sutton Runners men finished fourth in their final Surrey Cross Country League match of the season on Wimbledon Common on Saturday.
Martin Giles was the club’s first finisher, taking ninth place (31 minutes, 18 seconds) as Sutton secured third place in the league table after nine fixtures.
The women finished eighth on the day and overall in their league, Jenny Sinfield leading them home in 17th (36:27).
Bryan Park was Sutton’s lone runner in last Saturday’s Banstead Woods 5km parkrun. He finished 27th of 113 finishers in a personal best 22.08.
Steven Barber finished second in Sunday’s Nonsuch Park 10km race, clocking 36:51.
Meanwhile, Paul Piper was 121st in Sunday’s Bookham 10km race in 58.13.
