Richmond Volleyball’s U15 boys have earned a place in nexxt month’s national finals after finishing second out of five teams at the regional finals at St Gabriel’s School in Newbury.
They beat Danes (Watford) and the hosts 2-0, drew 1-1 with Ernest Bevin B and lost 2-0 to Ernest Bevin A.
Coach David Rijvers said: “The boys showed great team spirit, especially Elliott Blagrove who was voted Richmond’s player of the tournament.”

Final standings: 1 Ernest Bevin A, 2 Richmond, 3 Ernest Bevin B, 4 Newbury, 5 Danes.
