Sutton Runners’ Barbara Burnett, enjoying the sunshine in Lanzarote, completed a half marathon in two hours 42 seconds on Sunday.
Luis Gomez clocked an impressive 33 minutes 36 seconds to finish second in Sunday’s Beddington Park 10km race.
Sutton Runners also had 10 athletes in action at parkrun events: Roundshaw Downs: 2 Steven Barber 18.43, 11 Graham Miller 21.58, 17 Avi Shirodkar 22.34.
Banstead Woods: 5 Martin Newton 18.58, 18 Tony Moorhouse 20.39, 33 Fiona Park 22.25, 34 Lauren Jones 22.26, 36 Philip Graham-Clare 22.50, 75 Kaye Benjamin 28.11, 98 Patricia Cue 33.25.
