Addlestone-based Kira Ballinger and Megan Davies finished third in the south-east Sports Acrobatic Championship at Sittingbourne in Kent.
Representing Abbey Sports Acrobatics Club, nine-year-old Kira and Megan, 12, performed a choroegraphed routine at preparatory A grade, giving away few deductions and impressing judges with their energy on the floor.
Lily Davies, 10, and Lauren Berryman, nine, placed sixth in the same grade, performing a routine to the Rocky theme tune.
Club coach Katy Evans said: “We are a small gymnastics club with limited competitive experience so this is a huge achievement for us.
“Neither pair was phased and executed their moves perfectly.
“All the coaches are really proud and we’re looking forward to preparing for the national qualifiers in February.”
The sport involves gymnasts performing choreographed floor routines to music featuring acrobatic balances, dance and simple floor tumbles.
