Cheam kept their unbeaten run going with a comfortable 7-2 win at strugglers Walton & Weybridge.

After some early pressure, Rob McKenzie opened the scoring from a short corner, only for it to be cancelled out seconds later by a defensive lapse.

Goals from Stuart Lawrence and Dominic Beales put Cheam back on top, but a short corner for Walton and Weybridge made it 3-2 at half-time.

Cheam came out far stronger in the second half with four unanswered goals, with Faraz Shibli (two), Andy Ventris and Gareth Lautenberg all on the score sheet.

The win moves Cheam up to third in Surrey Division Three with a trip to league leaders EUHC Gamblers next week.

The second team rose to second in Surrey Open Division One with a 2-1 victory at Reigate Priory. Duncan Edwards and Tom Garrod grabbed the Cheam goals in a tight match.

The thirds lost 3-1 at home to Kenley, with Marcus Eales netting Cheam's goal.
