Tadworth AC's runners were out in force on Saturday for the opening of the Surrey cross-country league series.
The men travelled to Cranford Park near Heathrow for their Division 4 match, and were led home by Pat Wright, 8th in 28:26, with good runs from Dan Carpenter, 12th in 30:19, and Dave Williamson, 15th in 30:25.

Tadworth Ladies were in action at Reigate Priory Park for their Division 2 match. Hazel Imeson was first home for the club, 53rd in 31:27, with Mary Matthews next, 65th in 32:19. Other Tadworth times: 94 Carien Maske 34:55, 121 Helene Hill 38:42, 132 Aine Matthews 42:39. The team was 18th out of 37 in the Division.
Tadworth's Dave Williamson took part in the popular Kingston 16-mile run on Sunday, finishing 188th out of 627 in 2:03:10. Clubmate Graham Reid was 356th in 2:15:41.
In the 8-mile race, which attracted 1100 runners, Carien Maske was 581st in 1:13:11.
