Richmond Warriors U12s crowned a stunning season recently when they were named Junior Team of the Year for London.
The side, who romped to the London Junior League title by thrashing rivals the Croydon Hurricanes 42-18 in the Grand Final, also picked up the Minor Premiership trophy for topping the South London division.
The team have had seven players sent to the Harlequins RL elite training camp - quite a feat for a squad comprising players from nine different schools.
And it is not just the U12s that garnered all the praise - the U13s had one player awarded a Harlequins RL scholarship, and the under-11 side went the entire season unbeaten.
Warriors Vice Chairman Jimmy Giblin said: βIt has been the most successful season in the history of the Warriors, and now we have to find somewhere to put all of the silverware.
βI would like to thank all of the players, their families and volunteers for their hard work.β
