A new parkrun event is being launched on Roundshaw Downs, just off Purley Way, this Saturday (9am).
The event, originally inspired to reduce the pressure on the hugely successful Banstead Woods event, offers a fast and flattish two-lap course in beautiful open parkland.
Parkruns are weekly 5km time trial races for runners of all ages and abilities which are now held at 16 venues across the UK.
Volunteers are wanted for the Roundshaw Downs event - e-mail roundshawhelpers@parkrun.com.
