Belgrave Harriers remain on course to return to the British League Premiership after a weakened team won their second National One match at Eton on Saturday.

International William Sharman gained the man-of-the-match award after winning the sprint hurdles in 13.8 seconds, equalling the divisional best.

Other victories came from Mark Wiseman (50.74m) and Mark Allen (45.67m) in the A and B discus, Set Osho (47.6) and Louis Eveling-Jones (48.7) in the 400m, Wade Bennett-Jackson (10.5) in the B 100m, Cameron Johnson (4.40m) in the B pole vault and Allen (14.82m) in the B shot.

Osho, Jason Hussain, James Ellington and Sharman won the 4x100m relay in 41.3 seconds.

Having finished fifth in their opening match at Cardiff, Herne Hill snatched a surprise win in their second British National Two match at Norman Park, Bromley.

Herne Hill, who started with maximum points in the hammer through Stuart Thurgood (57.45m) and Mark Hanily (51.33m), led throughout the match.

Sammy Mensah (48.21 seconds) and Samuel Adeyemi (49.16) also gained maximum points in the 400m.

Robert Graham (11.03) won the B 100m and later linked up with Byron Robinson, Jeffrey Ocrah and Idris Ojuriye to break the club 4x100m relay record with 41.82.

Thomas Ashby was third in the pole vault, high jump and discus. His brother, Blade, won the B high jump and Allendre Johnson won the B javelin.

Kyle Stevens (15.21m) and Nick Owen (14.62m) gained maximum points in the A and B shot, with Chris Hall winning the B 110m hurdles, Tom Parry the B 400m hurdles and Andy Wheble the B discus.
