Do you love to dance? If so, then how would you like to dance with Jamaican sprint sensation Usain Bolt at the Crystal Palace Grand Prix in three weeks?

UK Athletics and Aviva London Grand Prix organisers Fast Track are giving the world the chance to dance with the triple Olympic gold medallist through the Bolt Dance campaign at loveathletics09.co.uk.

Who can forget the unique dancing celebrations performed by Bolt after winning each of his three gold medals at the Beijing Olympics? Familiar to many Jamaicans, those moves feature alongside a track by Nuh Linga and Gully Creeper.

Through loveathletics09.co.uk, the Bolt Dance is encouraging everyone to submit their versions by video. But there’s no Simon Cowell on this judging panel – you only have to impress the fastest-man-on-earth!

The lucky winner will get to show off their moves on the track with Bolt at Crystal Palace, the UK’s premier athletics event, on Friday July 24 straight after his 100m race.

Dancing comes naturally to Jamaicans, as Bolt explained. “People in Jamaica love to dance. When I win I’m happy so I like to dance. It’s just natural to me and it is entertaining for the fans.

“I picked up the moves at home in Jamaica. It started when my friend Mystique, a dancer, made a deal with me that if I won in Beijing, I would dance on the victory lap. Since Beijing, I have been invited to judge several competitions where people dance the Nuh Linga and Gully Creeper.

“I hear the guys in London have created this amusing dance campaign in honour of me and it is really cool. I’m looking forward to seeing some quality, entertaining entries, so I can choose the winner to dance with me on the track at in London. Watch me dance the Nuh Linga and Gully Creeper on the internet and send in your entries.”
