England take on women’s world lacrosse champions Australia in a friendly international in Cobham next Thursday, June 11 (6pm).
It will be the Australian team’s only appearance in Europe ahead of the defence of their world title in Prague from June 11-27.
The international clash will be played at Cobham Sports Association in Fairmile Lane. Tickets can be bought on the day for £6 per adult and £4 for U18s.
Rachel Kirchheimer, England vice-captain and a veterinary surgeon during the day, said: “This will be a great day for women’s sport in the UK. After the success of the England women’s cricket team in this year’s Ashes, we have a lot to prove.”
