A stunning unbeaten century from teenager Ben Dougall helped Barnes to a convincing eight-wicket victory over visitors Wembley at Lonsdale Road on Saturday.
He struck 117 not out as Barnes comfortably chased down the 202 needed for a win. He put on a 153 stand for the second wicket with Tom Bruce who scored an elegant 60.
Dougall, 17, unleashed some thundering drives and exquisite flicks as he masterminded the win with four overs to spare.
Accurate bowling and committed fielding had restricted Wembley to a below par total with Guy Rowley the pick of the bowlers taking 4-63 from 18 overs.
This Saturday Barnes take on Hornsey at Lonsdale Road with a 1pm start
