Surrey recorded their fifth friendly win out of five under county president Aga Hassan with a 139-81 win over Isle of Wight at Farnham last week.
Beaten by nine shots at Ventnor last year, there were no such problems on this occasion with Mike Rejman (Farnham), Mike Blake (Chessington), Terry Cannon (Farnham) and Ian Ross (Wallington) winning their rink by a mammoth 31-9. County badges were presented to Sutton’s Roger Limpenny and Haslemere’s Andrew Cundy.
