Staines & Laleham moved up to third in Surrey Championship Division Five with a 124-run victory over Wallington on Saturday.
Victory had looked a long way off as Staines slumped to a 11-3, but Adam Smith blasted a superb 145 as they recovered to reach 270-7 from 50 overs, Harry Colbert also contributing a well-crafted 64.
In reply skipper Kirk Mullard took three early wickets - including that of Pakistan U19 international Ray Qadir - and Graedon Boswell also took three wickets that ripped the heart out of the middle order.
Veteran seamer Dutche Archer, who is to act as baggage handler for the Dutch team at the Twenty20 World Cup, took the final wicket.
Staines host Chipstead & Coulsdon next Saturday.
