Sunbury Golf Centre is offering free coaching to women on Saturday.

The Shepperton-based golf centre is opening its doors to females to encourage them to have a go at golf.

There will be three PGA professionals on hand at the club from 10am until 4pm, and all players will get at least 15 minutes of one-on-one tuition.

Also available on the day will be some fantastic membership discounts, 2 for 1 on green fees after 12 noon, and a putting and chipping competition, the proceeds of which will go to the Centre’s nominated charity, CHASE.

Alex Taylor, General Manager of Sunbury Golf Centre, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming some new faces to the Centre.

“Whether ladies are accomplished players, thinking of coming back to the game, or complete novices, we will be delighted to give them a taste of what Sunbury has to offer. We are lending out golf clubs for free to those who don’t already have them.

“Last year we held a Ladies’ Open Day which was a great success, so this year we are hoping for a similar turnout and sun!”
