A new martial arts club has opened in New Malden specialising in kuk sool won, a systematic study of all traditional martial arts. A Korean form, kuk sool won covers covers the entire spectrum of established Asian fighting arts and body conditioning techniques, as well as mental development and traditional weapons training.
The club was officially opened last week by the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames, Councillor David Berry, and is now looking for new memners.
Instructor James Barker said: “This is a really exciting and new opportunity for people of all ages and abilities in New Malden and the surrounding area to learn self defence skills with their friends and family, while also improving fitness, relieving stress and having fun.”
