Purley dropped into the bottom two of the Surrey Championship Division One table after a 190-run mauling by top-of-the-table Weybridge, writes George Alderman.

Skipper Ahmad Raja was left to rue his decision to bowl first as Weybridge racked up a massive 256-6, with New Zealand international Grant Elliott top-scoring with 87.

Purley were then rolled over for just 66, as Kasim Siddiqui and James Scott were the only players to reach double figures.

In Division Two, Old Whitgiftians recorded a 109-run victory over Camberley to put them in fourth place in the table. After being asked to bat first, they made 235-7, thanks to 121 from opener David Ward.

In response, Camberley were dismissed for 132, as Ed Parsons took 5-54, while Suranjith Silva chipped in with 3-19.

Warlingham closed the gap on second-placed Egham to just four points in Division Three after they beat them by six wickets.

Egham struggled to 140 all out in 54.4 overs, mainly due to some tight bowling from Jerarldd Sugumar, who took an impressive five-wicket haul.

Sugumar then capped a fine all-round display, top-scoring with 40 as Warlingham eased to victory.

Southern Railway & Kenley cemented their position in mid-table of Division Four, beating Kingstonian by six wickets. In reply to Kingstonian's 249-8, they reached the target in style as David Lewis made an unbeaten 89.

In Division Five, Croydon Municipal Officers declared on 240-9 and sealed a winning draw by restricting Chipstead Coulsdon & Walcountians to 199-7.
