Worcester Park-based Phil Wicks confirmed his return to fitness by winning the Standard Chartered Great City 5K Road Race through London on Thursday.
The British international, who won the JP Morgan Corporate 3.5-mile race in Battersea Park a week earlier, dominated his latest race from the start and headed a 6,500-strong field to retain his title.
Running for Legal & General, he clocked 14 minutes, 18 seconds to finish well clear of runner-up Chris Beecham (15:32).
Thames Hare & Hounds and Epsom Oddballs' James McMullan, representing KPMG was third (15:38), with Banstead-based Stuart Major, (Legal & General) a further four seconds behind.
With Nick Hodges sixth in 15:50, Legal & General took the team honours.
Thames runner Huw Lobb was seventh (15:55) with Belgrave's Alaster Stewart eighth (15:58).
Belgrave's Katherine Swanson, running for City of London Police, was sixth in the women's race (19:23).
