An inspired bowling performance landed Teddington Town 1st team a comprehensive win over Stoke Green 1st XI on a damp afternoon in Bushy Park.
The decision of captain Gareth Simmonds to ask Stoke Green to bat first gave the home team swift reward, as opening bowler Warren May destroyed the top order.
With little chance of recovery, the batting side fell to 68 all-out. May claiming 7-31.
In reply, Town made easily made their target. The only casualty was Willy van Aswegen, who fell lbw for 29. Ed Watchorn and Liam Capper-Starr then guided the home side to a victory that leaves Town third in the table.
