Epsom & Ewell Harriers' Will Clark easily took the annual Tour of Epsom road running title by winning four of the five races.

He led his club to a clean sweep in the event, beating team-mates Phil Sanger and Alex Hawkins.

Clark won the opening race in Horton Country Park in 16 minutes, 38 seconds, from Sanger (17:07) and Hawkins (17:15).

The next day he took the honours again at Nonsuch Park in 22:47, with Sanger (23:02) and Hawkins (23:09) finishing in his wake.

Clark completed a hat-trick of wins, taking the race at Hogsmill open space in 18:46, with Hawkins taking second (19:02) from Sanger (19:45).

Clark made it four-in-a-row, winning at Epsom Downs last Thursday in 16:30, from Sanger (17:00) and Hawkins (17:05).

Clark lost his unbeaten record in the final race at the Equus Equestrian Centre, where he was beaten by Hawkins by 10 seconds, while just managing to hold off Sanger.

Hawkins won in 19:47.

Overall, Clark won in 1:34:38 from Sanger (1:36:51) and Hawkins (1:38:18).

Tadworth's Patrick Wright, making his debut in the event, finished fourth (1:40.05), with clubmate David Freeman fifth and over-40 winner (1:42.03).

Epsom & Ewell's dominance was maintained in the women's event where Emily Nelson, now Mrs Allden, won all five races in 19:02, 25:36, 21:36, 18:44 and 22:07.
