Molesey Boat Club's Andrew Triggs-Hodge put an injury hit summer behind him as the Great Britain coxless fours secured silver medal at the final World Cup regatta of the summer in Poland.
The 29-year-old Chiswick-based rower raced as part of the first choice four bound for the Beijing Olympics in August, alongside Tom James, Peter Reed and Steve Williams.
And fellow Molesey member James believes their performances prove the quartet will be contenders in China, despite missing out on gold by 2.4secs in Poznan.
"We showed we're still up there. It was a good effort and there were lots of good parts to the race," he added.
