Hampton-based Lady Eleanor Holles School has finished in top place at the National Schools Rowing Regatta, which was split between Nottingham and Dorney Lake because of high winds.

At Nottingham, Rosie Robson, Rachel Mann, Connie Manson, Louisa Bolton and cox Charlotte Trundley won gold in the J15 coxed fours.

Jasmin O'Reilly, Kate Davis, Tabitha Brown, Kate Marlow and cox Beth Williams won the George Hunter Cup for J14 coxed quads.

At the Dorney Lake Regatta, all eyes were on the J18 eights, who had already won the Schools' Head this year and were defending champions from last year's national regatta.

After an exciting race, the team of Lauren Bruce, Jemima Benstead, Julia Jolliffe, Annie Elkington, Sophie Young, Fiona Schlesinger, Amber Anderson, Charlotte Irving and cox Diana Kilner retained their title.
