Six Collingwood AC members took participated in the Founder Marathon, a 26-mile cross country event, last weekend.

Members were split into two groups with Melanie Johnstone, Steve Cooney, Andrew Stalley and Ruth Cottam finishing in just over six hours four minutes, and Thomas Wilkie and Rob Wilson crossing the line in a little over seven hours 50 minutes.

Also last weekend Stephanie Limond completed the Croydon 10K race, finishing 318th in a time of 56:19.

This Weekend saw members participating in the Beachy Head Marathon on Saturday, a cross country event taking in several obsticles, with Steve Cooney finishing in just under 4 hours recording 3 hours 57 minutes; Andrew Stalley finished in just overthe 4 hours in 4 hours 3 minutes; Melanie Johnstone finished in just over 4 hours 43 minutes and Rob Wilson completed in just under 6 hours finishing in 5 hours 55 minutes.

Also on Saturday the East Surrey Cross Country League where Martin Lloyd finished in 38:06 for the 5 mile event; Ben Cady finished in 39:15 and Graham Humpris finished in 41:42.

Sunday saw the 1st event in the LARA Surrey Winter 10K 3 race series with the event in Oxshott.

Andrew Stalley was first from the Club to finish in 90th place and a time of 44:24; Paul Brooke finished in just over 48 minutes; Ruth Cottam finished 164th in a new best time of 50:43; Chris Brooke finished 204th in 55:57 and John Allen finished 219th in 57:30.
